LGBTQ Therapist Chicago

LGBTQ Counseling Therapy

Searching for a LGBTQ therapist in Chicago? Hoping to find someone who is either outright gay or bisexual? Are you down to work with someone who is LGBTQ affirming, and therefore an ally? If so, you’ve come to the right place.

At the end of the day, you want to work with someone where you can be your total self and not spend time worry if your therapist “gets” the things you are talking about.

Chicago LGBTQ Counseling

One of the biggest issues our counselors encounter with clients are same-sex relationship challenges. This is particularly true for our clients who live in Lakeview, Andersonville, Boystown, and Uptown.

While the LGBTQ Chicago community may be large, it’s also fairly tight-knit and therefore experientially small. That whole thing about six-degrees of separation turns out to be true, particularly on Chicago’s North Side.

Lakeview Location

Our offices are located on the city’s North Side in the Lakeview community, sometimes referred to as Boystown or Wrigleyville. You’ll find our clinic on the corner of Roscoe Street and Paulina Avenue, close to Gross Park and steps away from the CTA Brown Line stop at Paulina.

Keep in mind that telehealth services are also available, meaning you don’t have to come into our office if you prefer remote therapy.

Queer Affirming Therapy

Regardless of the reasons you are seeking out counseling, it’s important you know that we are here to help. Our therapists offer therapy in an affirming, safe, and gentle environment where you can explore your life challenges and move about the business of moving through the roadblocks that may be in the way.

When you work with one of our therapists, you’ll have the option of in-person counseling or online. Telehealth has become an extremely popular way for many LGBTQ persons in Chicago to receive therapy, often from the privacy of their home or office.
